Talking to an AI assistant: what to expect

Email or message Prestido, and our AI assistant, Prestido AI, replies first. For a lot of people that’s new, so here’s a short explanation of how it works.

Do I know who I’m talking to?

Yes. The assistant always tells you it’s an AI. It never pretends to be a person. We think that goes without saying, and the law requires it too.

What does the assistant do for you?

• Answers your questions about your website, the price and how it all works.
• Takes changes, such as new opening hours or a different photo.
• Takes your message in the evening and at weekends too.
• Talks to you in your own language: English, Dutch, German, French, Polish or Spanish.

For now, a person reads every written reply before it goes out. That’s why a reply sometimes takes a little longer.

What doesn’t it do?

• It doesn’t agree prices or terms.
• It doesn’t sign contracts.
• It doesn’t make decisions about you.

Agreements are always made with a person, and we confirm them by email or on paper.

Can I always talk to a person?

Yes. Just tell the assistant, by email or on WhatsApp. Something like “Can I speak to someone?” will do. A person takes over, in English or Dutch.

Why an AI assistant?

Because that way your question gets read and answered in the evening too. And because it saves us a great deal of time, which you don’t have to pay for. That’s why a Prestido website is possible from €39 a month.
